Mission Statement & Core Values
The Casey Center for Community Counseling was created to help build better lives by offering mental health counseling at no cost to underserved populations throughout the community. We operate strictly on donations and grants in order that people in need may have access to the support they are seeking. Whether it is offering those who have experienced the death of a loved one the opportunity to connect with others, someone fighting an addiction, suffering silently from trauma or simply looking for help to build the life they want, the Casey Center is here for them. We offer both individual counseling and support groups where people connect and find a safe space to explore the emotions that are part of the healing process, activities to help create and maintain healthy relationships, and community education so that we are all better equipped to help the others in our lives. Understanding that wellness does not have a certain timeline but requires ongoing maintenance, our services are available for however long they are needed, and are always free of charge. We serve children, teens, and adults, supporting people at all stages of the life cycle to build a healthier culture and better lives.
Our vision is that everyone in the community may have access to mental health counseling resources regardless of their ability to pay. We choose to not let anyone suffer alone.
Our Mission:
We offer free counseling services for underserved populations in the community including psychoeducation and therapeutic activities that are free, peer-based, and ongoing.
Our Core Values:
provide counseling support at no charge to individuals and families for as long as required
educate and increase awareness on mental health issues facing the community
build community partnerships to better support all people in the community
preserve a diverse and sustainable base of volunteer and financial support to ensure that the Casey Center’s services will always be available for those in need
